Technical Production Rider

This rider outlines the preferred production requirements for Knox Signature. Professional substitutions are acceptable with prior approval.

01 · Cocktail Hour

Audio & Keyboard

Sound

  • 1 Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 powered speaker or equivalent
  • Second satellite speaker if needed based on the size and layout of the cocktail area
  • 1 compact mixer with a minimum of 4 channels

Keyboard

  • 1 professional 73-key keyboard
    • Preferred: Nord Stage 2, Nord Stage 3, or Nord Electro
    • Yamaha Motif also acceptable
  • 1 sturdy X-style keyboard stand
  • 1 sustain pedal

Connections & Power

  • 1 1/4" instrument cable
  • All necessary audio and power cables

02 · Reception

DJ Equipment

Booth & Control

  • 1 professional DJ booth
    • Podium-style preferred, but open to comparable options
  • 1 laptop stand
  • 1 Rane ONE MK2 DJ controller
    • Substitutions are acceptable with prior approval

Mixing & Wireless

  • 1 Allen & Heath CQ-12T or CQ-18T digital mixing console, or equivalent
  • 2 Shure SLX-D wireless handheld microphones, or equivalent
  • Complete audio and power cable package, including necessary XLR, USB, and extension cables

03 · Reception

Sound System

Preferred System

  • 2 RCF NXL 14-A powered speakers
  • 2 RCF SUB 15-AX powered subwoofers

Coverage

  • Comparable professional sound systems are acceptable. The system should provide appropriate coverage and output for the reception space, dance floor, and anticipated guest count.
  • Please include all necessary speaker poles or stands, cabling, and power distribution.

04 · Reception

Lighting

Fixture Package

  • 6–8 LED tube lights
    • Chauvet WELL STX 180, Ape Labs Neon Pix, or equivalent
  • 8–10 wireless LED uplights
    • Final quantity based on room size and layout
  • 2 moving head fixtures
    • Chauvet DJ Intimidator series or equivalent

Control & Intent

  • Appropriate lighting control, stands, clamps, safety cables, and power
  • Lighting should provide a clean, elevated look throughout the reception with dynamic lighting available for the dance floor.

05 · On-Site

Production Support

  • 1 qualified sound and lighting technician
  • Technician should be available for setup, soundcheck, system testing, event support, and teardown
  • All equipment should be fully installed, tested, and operational prior to the scheduled soundcheck

06 · Standards

General Requirements

  • All equipment should be professional-grade, clean, and fully operational
  • Comparable substitutions are welcome but should be approved by Knox Signature in advance
  • Final speaker and lighting quantities may be adjusted based on venue layout and guest count
  • All necessary cabling, power distribution, stands, adapters, and accessories required for the above equipment should be included

07 · Approval

Production Advance

Please provide the proposed equipment list and any substitutions to Knox Signature for approval prior to the event.
